Dr. Anusha Mohan hails from a family of doctors in Chennai. She has completed her master’s degree in Pediatric dentistry and fellowship on special care dentistry from Sickids hospital in Canada. She completed master’s with best outgoing student award from Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research. Her passion for dentistry combined with her love for children made her choose child dentistry as her specialty for post-graduation. Since graduation, she has been a consultant pediatric dentist at many hospitals and clinics in and around Chennai. She is well trained in child psychology and behaviour management to provide dental treatment for all children including children with special health care needs. She also routinely performs early childhood caries rehabilitation for very young children under general anaesthesia in a private hospital setting. She enjoys treating kids and always encourages the parents to accompany their children during their dental experience to inculcate a positive dental attitude.
She is also an active researcher with 3 scientific articles published in renowned journals with more ongoing research projects.She strongly believes that a good clinician should also be a researcher, so that advances in materials and treatment approaches can be translated to practice effectively.
Dr. Anusha is a good friend of Dr. Aishwarya and Dr.Vinay since her undergraduate days. She is very happy to be a part of their team to provide her valuable service as a paediatric consultant at AV dental care.
Anusha Mohan has 5 years experience in Pediatric Dentistry and she has one year experience in working as pediatric dentist in Canada during her fellowship. For past 2 years she has been working as consultant pediatric dentist in more than 10 well established dental clinics in Chennai. She also has very good experience in treating children under general anesthesia and nitrous oxide sedation.
